What sensitivity do you play on? Really good game. Good advice. My Sens. is on 6 or 7 right now. I tried 10 but i am gonna have to get used to 7 and work my way up cause i couldnt control or aim worth crap
I play with the default sensitivity, it’s medium which is 2. I don’t like using the really high sensitivity’s I just can’t aim as well with it when it’s that high.

Echoing earlier comments, this is how commentaries should be run. Lately many of the classic commentators like Hutch, WoR, etc., think mw2 videos are their fucking diaries. It is refreshing to hear an actual thought process that matches what the viewers see.

I got 2 new commentaries I’m going to upload soon. a 23-3 on favela and a 37-3 on terminal(I am using the nuke). So hopefully I get those up soon.
First, don’t you notice when playing on the default sensitivity if you come in close proximity to an enemy they usually spin faster and get the hip fire on you? How do you avoid this? I use to play with 2 sensitivity all the time, but after a thousand marathon/lightweight knife stabs I started to raise it.
Second: One thing I’ve noticed about the commentary video’s posted on mw2tips.com is the ease you guys pull off drop shots. I’ve been trying to master them lately, and it always seems like my aim is thrown off between the ducking and laying position. Do you have any advice on pulling these off correctly?
third: another thing I’ve noticed is you guys often play in games that appear to have little lag coming from your side. I don’t play on the smoothest connection, and for security reasons I don’t have a completely open NAT, do you have any recommendations on playing styles you incorporate when the lag hits?
I don’t seem to run into that problem to often because it doesn’t seem to bother me at all. There’s times I guess where if I were to be able to spin faster I wouldn’t of died but I just can’t aim with really high sensitivity, my cross-hairs just go all over the place when I try.
Only thing you can do to improve your drop shot is to just continue to do it. Practice makes perfect. When I first started doing it I was horrible, but once you’ve done it for a while it becomes second nature.
I don’t seem to run into lag all that often. A reason you don’t see lag in the vids uploaded though is because commentators like to upload their best games. And usually when you are lagging you don’t get the best games so they don’t get uploaded. I have played on a 1 bar connection before when I was uploading to youtube. I have to say, it was the most annoying thing I’ve done in this game. Every 2 steps I would be glitching all over the place and would put entire clips into peoples backs just to have them turn around and kill me. If you are playing with lots of lag there isn’t much you can do, if you want to get better scores you would have to play more defensively to counteract your lag.
@cally…did you change your control layout to tactical? seems to help dropshots alot.
@laggers…..its really annoying for the rest of the players too. you are glitching and jumping all over the place. it makes it very hard to kill someone who is lagging.
Yeah, I switched my controls to tactical and it definitely helps, I notice my redicle bounces all over as I’m laying down though, and it always looks like the commentators do it seemlessly, while I seem to bounce down into a prone, and then laying position. I’ll keep at it, though.
I figured everyone has a problem with lag from time to time, and frustration definitely can ruin your MW2 experience pretty quickly. Nothing worse than getting killed by what seems like 1 bullet, looking at the killcam, and discovering that you were in his screen a full second before he was in yours.
